Michelle Rodriguez shocked fans when she threatened to leave The Fast and the Furious franchise unless "they decide to show some love to the women of the franchise on the next one" in an Instagram post in June. Now we know that Michelle has at least one of her Fate of the Furious co-stars in her corner.
Charlize Theron came to Michelle's defense during Sunday night's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. "Yeah, I mean, I feel it's super valid," the Oscar winner addressed Michelle's statement. "This is somebody who has been with this franchise for a really long time. And I can personally say I am a fan of the franchise because of her. She's incredible. She's incredible. And she's the heart of that whole franchise."
But in all actuality, Michelle has no beef with Vin. She later clarified her comments in an Instagram video with her longtime Fast and the Furious franchise co-star. "Vin, for many years you've been the biggest supporter of strong women, and I've always appreciated that about you throughout the years," she said as the two embraced. "And just know if I ever post anything, it's not you I'm talking to."
