Was Karen Acting Shady When She Invited Sherman's Ex-Wife to Hang out With the Ladies?

Leave your sunglasses and parasols at home, because Sunday night's episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac had all the shade you could ever need. One moment in particular probably raised some eyebrows among RHOP fans.

As the ladies discussed Karen Huger's upcoming O Charity Dinner in support of the Alzheimer's Association, Monique Samuels and some of her friends wondered why they were making checks out to Karen's company iKON Enterprises. "I am hosting this, so it's going through my business so my accountants can track all funds that will be donated to Alzheimer's Association directly," Karen explained during the episode. "So these batches can shut up and write a check."

Monique especially seemed to think the whole situation seemed a little shady. And when she approached Karen about it during Sunday night's episode of RHOP, she didn't exactly get the answer she was looking for. "I'm doing it the way I'm going to do it, and enough said. We're done," Karen told Monique. "That's none of your business, to be honest."

But thank goodness for social media because we got a little update on Twitter about what actually happened to the ladies' checks after the O Charity Dinner, courtesy of Monique herself. "What I learned from @KARENHUGER was that her company paid for the event (room rental, food, etc)," Monique tweeted Sunday. "The Alzheimer’s Association was there and present. They received all of the donations that night directly."

Helping those affected by Alzheimer's has long been a cause near and dear to Karen's heart. Karen's parents, as well as her mother-in-law Odessa, for which her fundraising event is named, battled the disease. Her mother, Georgia Raines Wooden, passed away last November after battling Alzheimer's. "It feels so good to see our friends and family get together for such an important cause," Karen said of hosting her O Charity Dinner on RHOP.
