NeNe Leakes: I'll Never Be Marlo's Friend Again!
The Atlanta Housewife shares what went wrong between the two.
Everything's coming up NeNe Leakes lately—especially with her new exciting new endeavor with Dancing With The Stars!—but there are still unsettled scores in Atlanta, and it looks like a friendship is about to bite the dust.
On a recent episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, NeNe and her friend, Marlo Thompson, who viewers may recognize from I Dream Of NeNe: The Wedding, suffered a friendship meltdown of epic proportions.

While out for Cynthia Bailey's Bailey Bowl sporting event and fundraiser, NeNe and Marlo came to blows in a relationship-ending fight that left Marlo in tears and NeNe completely distraught. Marlo has since apologized, saying that she didn't need to "tear [the RHOA cast] down to build myself up" and that she regrets the incident and her poor behavior.

There's more to the meltdown than what we caught on camera, according to NeNe, and it looks as though their friendship is officially beyond repair.
"I considered Marlo a friend," she tells Essence. "She was in my wedding. I supported her when nobody supported her...No one can step in our relationship and break us up if we're real friends. So, that's not it. Our stuff is deeper than Kenya Moore. If you watched my wedding show, you saw we had issues there. I felt like Marlo came in and caused a big divide among the girls."
NeNe may never reveal what truly went wrong between the too—but she wishes Marlo the best. "From there other things happened...She knows, I know, Cynthia Bailey knows what happened between me and Marlo is way deeper. I wish her the best. I think she has a good heart. I do. I'm not interested in going to the media and bashing someone that I once called a friend. I do wish her the best, but I will never be friends with her again."
