NeNe Leakes: Why I'd Be Good for 'Fashion Police'
The 'RHOA' star says she and the late Joan Rivers had a lot in common.
After Joan Rivers passed away last year, rumors had surfaced that NeNe Leakes might be poised to take over the legendary comedienne's duties as host of Fashion Police. And while that honor eventually went to Kathy Griffin, Kelly Osbourne's recent exit from the show has again sent the rumor mill churning that The Real Housewives of Atlanta star might be about to bring her signature wit to the E! show.
While NeNe has yet to confirm that she'll be a regular cast member, she's made no qualms about the fact that she's a fan of the show and thinks she'd be a good fit for critiquing the sartorial choices of the stars.
"Because I'm fashionable and I keep it real like Joan," she recently told TMZ when asked why she should be considered. "I keep it real and tell it like it is and I love [Joan]."
NeNe has already branched out into fashion with the launch of her uber-successful NeNe Leakes Collection on HSN. But the star just might have some competition from none other than a fellow Atlanta housewife for the Fashion Police gig. Porsha Williams recently tweeted out her interest in joining the show, writing "Hosting experience CHECK - Love of fashion CHECK - love to gossip CHECK!! @e_FashionPolice I think you found your new hostess! #callme."
Fashion Policewill return on Friday, March 30th and we can't wait to see who ends up on the new panel!
