Holiday Cheers! Jax, Tom and Ariana's Festive Tips

What are the 'Vanderpump Rules' stars serving up this season?

Cheers! Whether you're toasting to the holidays or the New Year, the time is right to serve up a favorite concoction and toast with family and friends.

Each day this week, we're sharing some of our Bravolebrities' favorite holiday-appropriate drinks. Today, we're hearing from the stars of Vanderpump Rules.

Jax Taylor
"Well this year, thanks to my father, I’ve been drinking Fireball. I never thought I would like whiskey, because I usually drink vodka straight. I like vodka straight. But I've been hitting the Fireball. We just do straight shots. When it comes to family, there's no time for making mixed cocktails. We just hit the bottle. We were hitting the honey-baked ham and just doing straight shots of Fireball. So it was like honey baked ham, fireball. Honey baked ham, fireball. So it was like sodium overload slash get me wasted."

"We used to do a candy cane martini at Sur that was really good. It was a strawberry candy cane martini. We have a strawberini that's really good, but we just added a candy cane to it. It's vodka, lime juice, simple syrup, strawberry puree, and we add crushed candy cane. And it's really really good."

My dad and I were hitting the honey-baked ham and just doing straight shots of Fireball. So it was like honey baked ham, Fireball. Honey baked ham, Fireball.

"When it comes to making a perfect cocktail, it should be something that tastes great throughout the entire cocktail, and you want another one. A lot of cocktails that taste really great on that first sip, by the time you’re done with it, you’re good on that drink for a month. I tend to go more towards sweet, sour, spicy, but just a perfect blend of it. Not too much. You don't want somebody to take their first sip of their cocktail and be like 'oh my gosh that was amazing!' Because by the time they're done, they're gonna be over it."

Ariana Madix
"I like sweet, sour, and spicy. I prefer spicy. If you don’t prefer spicy, I definitely think a hint of something sour or something so that it’s not just a sweet drink. I feel like that's kind of gross. Not being too strong. A lot of people, especially who are maybe 21-years-old, they think, ‘Ooh this drink is so good because it’s so strong!' But it’s actually gross."
