Andy Cohen Speaks Out Against Indiana Governor Pence
Lisa Vanderpump also tweets out against the state's 'religious freedom' law.
Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen is joining the long list of stars who are speaking out against Indiana Gov. Mike Pence in regards to the state's anti-LGBT "religious freedom" law.
The bill would allow businesses to turn away LGBT customers citing religious reasons. Since it first became national news last week, celebrities have been voicing their outrage about the legislation.
"Memo to @GovPenceIN," Andy tweeted. "Bye Felicia!"
Lisa Vanderpump also spoke out by re-tweeting a message posted on Twitter.
In addition to Andy and Lisa, Apple CEO Tim Cook has also showed his support for the LGBT community.
Talk show host Ellen Degeneres also tweeted in the wake of the news. "For anyone who is refused service under #Indiana's new law, you deserve better," she wrote. "Acceptance and progress take time. But they always arrive."
Miley Cyrus has been one of the most vocal folks to come out against the bill, posting a message for Pence on her Instagram.
"We are not going to change this law," he said during his appearance on the show.
"That's not on my agenda, and that's not been an objective of the people of the state of Indiana. And it doesn't have anything to do with this law," he added about amending the law to protect people based on sexual orientation to Indiana's anti-discrimination laws.
