Concerned romantics of the world, Jason Sudeikis is offering an update on when or if he will marry his longtime love, Olivia Wilde. And, the Mother's Day actor doesn't seem ready to rush down the aisle anytime soon, as he shared on Watch What Happens Live Thursday.
"I know this isn't my mom [calling] 'cause my mom's in the audience," Jason joked when a female caller asked for an update on when the Hollywood power couple might finally say "I do." "They shouldn’t be [concerned]. We are, in many many ways [married]. I mean, I believe we won’t get married until weed is legal in every state."
The question of when they will finally wed has been on everyone's minds for quite some time. You see, the couple has been together since 2011 and got engaged in 2013. Together they have a son, Otis, who turns 2 later this month. Should they get married, this would mark the second walk down the aisle for each: Olivia was married to Italian musician/filmmaker Tao Ruspoli from 2003 to 2011, while Jason was married to writer/actress Kay Cannon from 2004 to 2010.
Earlier this year, Olivia mirrored Jason's sentiments on marriage in a recent interview with The EDIT. "We are seriously connected," she said back in February, via E! News. "Before you have a child, marriage is the ultimate commitment and promise to one another, and then once you have a child, it's like, ‘Oh, we're committed and promised already.'"
Well, there you have it. Now stop asking!
