Patti Stanger Sees Hope for Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson
"This relationship is open to repair," the love doctor diagnoses.
When it comes to Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart, Patti Stanger is trying to see the blood bag as half full. "Over 50 percent of relationships can survive an affair," the Millionaire Matchmaker states matter-of-factly on PattiKnows.com about Twlight lovers Kristen and Rob's relationship.
After proof of K-Stew's hush-hush rendezvous with her (married!) Snow White and the Huntsman director, Rupert Sanders, became public, she was quick to issue an apology via People. "I'm deeply sorry for the hurt and embarrassment I've caused to those close to me and everyone this has affected. This momentary indiscretion has jeopardized the most important thing in my life, the person I love and respect the most, Rob. I love him, I love him, I'm so sorry," the 22-year-old actress said.
"First off, I love that Kristen Stewart apologized publicly to Robert Pattinson and admitted the truth," Patti applauds. "The fact that she's severely sorry may mean that this relationship is open to repair and she seems to be coming from a genuine place."
Although reports claim the couple -- who've been dating for three years since striking real-life love on the Twilight set -- aren't speaking at the moment, and that Pattinson has moved out of the home they shared, Cupid's brunette helper wants to see them enter counseling ASAP.
"Kristin has always been good at turning her cheek to the media," she notes. "Let's hope that R. Patz can do the same in order to keep calm as the media twists this story into total relationship chaos."
