Phaedra Parks Says She Finalized Her Divorce from Apollo Nida

"We'll always have a relationship," the #RHOA attorney said.

Phaedra Parks' marriage to Apollo Nida has officially come to an end. The Real Housewives of Atlanta attorney confirmed that her divorce is finalized during a recent appearance on TMZ's Raq Rants (clip above).

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

RHOA fans have watched the ups and downs of Phaedra and Apollo's relationship on the show, from the birth of their two sons, now 6-year-old Ayden and 3-year-old Dylan, to the start of Apollo's eight-year prison sentence for fraud and identity theft. Phaedra announced her plans to divorce Apollo in October 2014.

Apollo's camp told TMZ that "if the divorce is truly finalized, it's news to him."

Though Phaedra said during her interview with Raq Rants that she doesn't miss Apollo, the two stay in constant communication as he serves out his sentence at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey, the same prison where The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Joe Giudice is serving his 41-month sentence. "I mean, we are parents together, so we talk frequently," Phaedra said on Raq Rants.

Phaedra said Ayden and Dylan are "doing very well" these days, but there are no plans to have them visit their father in prison anytime soon, as viewers saw them do for the first time last season of RHOA. "I can't say what I'm gonna do, but at this point in time, it's not in our schedule," she said.

Now that Phaedra is single, she's not exactly ready to mingle. "I don't know if I'm saying that I'm actually looking. I mean, I'm open to it, but that's not at the top of my list," Phaedra revealed. "I think it works better when it happens sort of naturally. I think when people are looking for men, that's where they look and get into trouble."

As a lawyer, mortician, and political activist, Phaedra doesn't really have much time to date, either. "Yes, I do have lots of jobs," she said on Raq Rants. "That's why I don't have time trying to run around dating because I'm trying to get them coins."

But would Phaedra ever consider rekindling her romance with Apollo in the future? "I never say never, but in this case, I don't think that would be a possibility," Phaedra explained. "At the end of the day, we're friends and we have our kids together, so we'll always be friends. We'll always have a relationship."

Phaedra teased earlier this week that viewers will get to see her "divorce become final" in the new season of RHOA premiering Sunday, November 6 at 8/7c. See what else you can expect from the upcoming season, below.
