Phaedra Parks may have made the decision to divorce Apollo Nida last October, but that doesn't mean you'll find the Real Housewives of Atlanta single mom on Tinder anytime soon. You see, until the ink is dry on her divorce papers, she has no plans to get back on the singles' scene.
"I'm still currently married and so, you know, I am a Christian, and I don't feel it's appropriate to date until you're legally divorced," she told E! News. "Once I divorce I will definitely consider dating, but at this point, my sons [Ayden and Dylan] are my first priority. I think it would be irresponsible of me for to bring men around my child while I'm still married, and [to let them be around] people that I don't plan to get serious with."
Phaedra announced her split from Apollo shortly after he entered prison on an eight-year sentence for fraud and identity theft. Currently, she's trying to navigate life as a working single mom. "I think being a single mom is tough because you're the sole provider and you have all the responsibilities on your shoulders," Phaedra told E! News. "Just knowing you don't have a partner to rely on [is tough], but you just have to pull up your boot straps and keep going... My first priority is obviously being a mom, and everything else takes a backseat to that."
Earlier this week, Phaedra appeared on Watch What Happens Live where she confirmed that Joe Giudice will be serving time in the same prison as her estranged husband at FCI Fort Dix in New Jersey. The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband is slated to begin his 41-month sentence for fraud in March.
