If you've ever watched The Real Housewives of Atlanta and wondered what inspired Phaedra Parks' swanky home decor, you're in luck — we now know all of her secrets to interior design. And one of them is the fact that she looked to a fashion icon when it came to the sophisticated lighting in her home.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Peacock and the Bravo App.

"The things I am most crazy is chandeliers. I love crystal chandeliers," she recently revealed to The Daily Dish. "All the chandeliers in my house is custom done by Luna Bella, who actually did all the chandeliers for Versace when he was alive. And so when I found that out, I brought him in 'cause, of course, Versace was everything. So I said if you did Versace chandeliers and his furniture, you are qualified to do mine. And so they did a fabulous job and so all of my pieces are pretty much custom."

Phaedra's eye for lighting is on par with the late fashion legend.

Another key part of her aesthetic is the fact that she likes the furnishings and decor in her home to be very tactile. "I love to decorate. I'm very girly, but I love textures," she said. "I love things that are rich. I just love to walk into a room and say "errrr" [or] "mmmm." When I do that, I'm like, 'This is right.'"

However, Phaedra never gets too attached to anything. "I don't think there's anything I could never live without because I think growth is about transition and knowing when to let go," she said. "You know I was actually telling someone because of all the newness in my life and complete restoration and going into 2017 as a new single woman, I told my friend I might just burn all my clothes, give away everything so that everything is new and fresh," she said, adding, "I'm not gonna burn the clothes. I'll give them [away]. Just so you can just cleanse your whole life, everything of what's old so that you can allow new things to come in."

You can take a peek inside her home every Sunday when RHOA airs at 8/7c. Check out a preview of the drama to come this season, below.
