Want walk a mile in Rachel Zoe's shoes? Start by tossing your sneakers.
"I like flats and I adore a high heel, but I don't love a kitten heel," The Rachel Zoe Project star shares with Redbook in their September issue. "It's neither here nor there. And the one shoe I will never wear is sneakers."
Then what is worthy of ba-nan-as status this fall, according to our fashion high roller's calculations? She works cozy into her wardrobe with wide-leg jeans. "They really elongate the leg. People think they have to wear everything skin-tight to look smaller, but that's just not the case. I wear my jeans with a vintage Chanel jacket and an LNA tee: It's glamorous, but also really comfortable," says the new mom.
But when it comes to accessories, RZ warns bigger isn't always better. "If you wear a necklace and earrings and a crazy bag and a crazy shoe, you'll look like you have on a costume." Maybe it's a Bravo thing -- Patti Stanger recently told Today, "I love Coco Chanel and she would always say 'take the last thing off that you put on.' People overaccessorize and it's just overwhelming."
