What Does John Mellencamp Think of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills?

Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave may be the daughter of a pop star, but that didn't mean she was destined to repeat her father John Mellencamp's worldwide music success. But oh, how she tried, as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills accountability coach just revealed in a throwback Instagram post containing a snippet of a demo song she wrote almost 20 years ago.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

"On this #WayBackWednesday I’m taking you to a time (1999) when a bright-eyed and over-plucked girl moved to the big city, got headshots from the local department store, wrote a terrible song, made the song worse by 'singing' it, and thought she would be the first Taylor Swift," Teddi wrote. Indeed, the song has a twinge of revenge against a dude that's a bit Swiftian.

But that's not how Teddi's music career panned out.

"Instead, she was swiftly sent to work in the CAA mailroom," she joked in the Instagram post. "Which thankfully was soundproof and had endless bagels. I mean how did I forget all about this, thank you for sending it to me Malia."

John Mellencamp watches The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills now that his daughter is on it and gets pretty wrapped up in it, Teddi told a caller on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen

"I was talking to him and he said, 'I don't know what my life is coming to because I had to call my asistant today to say what time is the Housewives on," she revealed.

And what does he think of Teddi on TV?

"You're being who you are so I'm proud of you, but I wish you wouldnt argue with that Dorit; she seems nice," Teddi said that John told her.

"He knows everybodys name now," Teddi told told The Daily Dish. "He's in it, we're all in it as a family."
