We're Learning Even More About Teresa Giudice's Bodybuilding Career

Teresa Giudice's BFF, Dolores Catania, long had an inkling that The Real Housewives of New Jersey yoga lover might have an knack for fitness competitions. So, when it came time for Teresa to prep for her big debut in a fitness competition in 2018, she looked no further than Dolores' ex-husband and fellow fitness buff and gym owner, Frank Catania.

Frank, Dolores, and Teresa revealed some behind-the-scene secrets about that whole experience for the first time ever in a clip from the RHONJ After Show, above. And, as it turns out, there was one aspect of Teresa training with Frank that they both called Dolores up about before they agreed to the working together.

When The Daily Dish spoke to Dolores earlier this season, she opened up a bit more about Teresa's bodybuilding training becoming a family affair. 

Teresa debuted her fit figure back in June at the NPC South Jersey Championships in Medford, New Jersey in a little purple bikini; she placed third in the Bikini: 40+ category in the competition. Dolores' son Frankie Catania also competed, winning first place in the Men's Physique: Teen category in the NPC South Jersey Championships that very same competition, which Dolores noted "was awesome."

"I liked watching them go on that journey together. They were cute together," she said. "I loved seeing them on stage. They had the same diet. They had the same workout. I think they even worked out together. I don't want any part of that," she added, joking, "That's a different level."
