Reza Farahan's Love for Real Estate Runs Deep

The #Shahs power agent was even making deals as a kid.

By Jocelyn Vena

Reza Farahan may have found the love of his life in hubby Adam Neely, but it goes without saying that his other passion is real estate. And the Shahs of Sunset agent's love for buying and selling homes dates way back to his childhood. Yes, childhood.

"Everything about it [appeals to me]. When I was a kid, I literally would get the Sunday paper and I would find the houses I wanted to see [and] as an 11, 12, 13-year-old, I would take my parents to open houses and be like, 'It's time to upgrade. We need a bigger, better, more expensive house. Like, get to work,'" he told The Daily Dish. "Not only that, but I actually have all of those [clippings] saved from my childhood, all of the Sunday's Home sections are sealed in an airtight container in a storage room."

Since Reza was already playing real estate agent at a young age, it's no surprise that he would grow up to become one. He currently works at Keller Williams Realty in West Hollywood and his love for the business doesn't end with listing properties. "I wanted to be in the homes business. I want to build homes. I want to sell homes. I want to remodel homes. I want to deocrate homes. I want to be involved in homes, in every aspect of it," Reza said, adding that he has tons of love for the guys of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles. "I think it's fantastic," he said. "I mean everyone has their skill sets and how they work, and I have mad respect for anyone that has and acheives success in a respectable way."

In fact, his path recently crossed with newlyweds Josh Altman and Heather Bilyeu. "Josh and his wife looked at one of my listings on Genesee [Avenue]," he said. "She loved the house and wanted it, but he was not down with it. It was a really beautiful, traditional, country-ish, English kind of house. I think it was $1.4, $1.5 [million]."

Even if he didn't make the sale, he is still on Team Altman. "[Josh and Matt are] so nice," he said. "They're great, great, great guys."
