RHONJ Blog Recap: 'Public Displays of Rejection'

The ladies speak their minds about this week's feud-filled episode.

By Mike Hess

There's a lot of questions still to be answered after last night's Real Housewives of New Jersey episode, aptly titled Public Displays of Rejection. Will Teresa Giudice and Jacqueline Laurita make up? Will therapy work for Teresa and Joe Gorga? What's the deal with Teresa and Kathy Wakile?

Thankfully, there's some answers in their blogs this week. Kathy cuts right to the chase in her post, saying that her head-to-head with Teresa may work or it may not, but at least they're trying.

"I think we have all learned a few things with this week's episode. When your friends and family stick their necks out for you and try to help, it can make for a challenging relationship," Kathy writes. "It’s hard to turn your back and just forget what has been done and said, whether to your face or behind your back. It’s so difficult to juggle it all and it makes you wonder, why do you even have to? Wouldn’t it be so much easier if there were more honesty, more communication, and far less pettiness and animosity?"

Meanwhile, Caroline gives her take on the current scenarios, but there's one thing about the past that she wants to clear up. "One thing I want to address is the Jacqueline/Caroline punch in the face comment," the self-proclaimed "bulldog" writes.

"As you all know, we’ve discussed this before and neither Jac or I have tried to hide it. What bothers me is the fact that it was brought up again, so many years later. This happened over ten years ago, shortly after Jac gave birth to CJ. She was suffering from post partum depression and going through a really tough time. I’m insulted and disappointed that T would use Jac’s suffering as a sticking point. There’s nothing funny about post partum depression, shame on her for that. The bottom line is we forgave and forgot, and we have a wonderful relationship. Yes, we have disagreements from time to time, but it never lasts long. We talk about it and move on, TOGETHER."

We'll update this post with the other blogs when they roll in, but meantime, tell us if you think Jacqueline and Teresa will ever be able to make up in the future.
