#RHONJ Recap: Tense Reunion Night Tweets

While the fighting was left on screen, the NJ Wives were still chatty on Sunday night.

Holy smokes... have you recovered from part one of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion special yet? We sure haven't -- and even though the 'Wives themselves taped the special almost a month ago, the feelings were still fresh last night judging by their Twitter reactions as they watched along.

With all of the bad blood between Teresa Giudice and the rest of the cast, insults and accusations were flying without abandon on the actual show, and oddly enough, when it came to Twitter, there was something of a truce it seemed, as the RHONJ ladies didn't really attack one another, but more justify the points they made during the reunion. Well, there was almost a truce.

Jacqueline Laurita, who aside from Teresa was the most outspoken and riled up during the taping, threw a bit of a jab towards her ex-best-friend by following up on Lauren Manzo's quizzing about spelling and defining the world "napalm." Here's what Jac tweeted:

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 14 premiere May 5th at 8/9c on Bravo and stream next day on Peacock.

Lauren also tweeted about the word, but she was mostly just bummed her entire exchange wasn't aired.

For her part, Teresa was mostly absent from tweeting during the reunion, instead opting for a big thank you to her fans afterwards.

T's estranged sister-in-law Melissa Gorga also shied away from rekindling the war of words, instead just offering up this little teaser.

Caroline Manzo, who went back-and-forth between bulldog and peacemaker at times, was feeling the nerves beforehand, and explained on Twitter that her heart-to-heart with Teresa was genuine, but didn't really go anywhere or do anything.

And in the night's most explosive moment (which will continue into next week's part 2 episode), Teresa's mention of Kathy Wakile's father was just too much for Kathy ... and sister Rosie Pierri, who exploded at the mention of her dad.
