Yet Another One of Team USA's Many Talents? Carpool Karaoke

These Olympians deliver a gold medal-worthy performance.

By Laura Rosenfeld

The opening ceremony for the 2016 Summer Olympic Games kicks off in Rio Friday, and you may be wondering how the best athletes in the world are preparing for this major event. Well apparently, they're doing some Carpool Karaoke.

Team USA's Olympic swimmers, including Michael Phelps, Ryan Lochte, and Missy Franklin, hopped in a car and did their very own take on James Corden's beloved Late Late Show series on the way to Rio.

First up is Carly Rae Jepsen's smash "Call Me Maybe," which the team memorably lip-synced to in a video that went viral during the 2012 Summer Olympics in London. However, Misty quickly said to "get it off."

But after that, the party really gets going, thanks to Fifth Harmony's "BO$$." And with Team USA singing and dancing just like we would if Justin Bieber, One Direction, or Flo Rida came on the radio, it doesn't look like the party ever stops in this adorable clip.

The swimmers go on a nostalgia trip as well with some throwback tunes. One in particular will make you want to whip out your phone to play some Pokemon Go this instant.

Team USA gets up to plenty of non-music shenanigans too, leading up to a very patriotic grand finale. Watch all of the Olympic fun in full, below.
