Rosie Pope is playing around on the job. Our Pregnant in Heels starlet recently partnered with Mattel on their new Little Mommy doll line. "I'm looking at little mommy doll+all I can think about is my little girl playing w/it ;)" tweeted the glowing maternity guru, who's pregnant with her first daughter.
Rosie explained things further to People, saying about her latest collaboration:"To work with Mattel is really an honor because I believe in the importance of a mother as a role model for our little girls ... I simply can't wait for my little girl to be old enough to play with the Little Mommy dolls. They celebrate style and they help teach about milestones from potty training to transitioning to a toddler bed."
Speaking of the latter milestone, Rosie has a few tips of her own for parents going through this phase. "Don't make the move to a toddler bed when your toddler is having other disruptions in their normal routine. Like potty training, school, going on vacation, moving and so on. Try to do it when there aren't a lot of other things going on," blogs J.R. and Wellington's mama.
And when the time is right, "It is very important to get your toddler excited about the upcoming move to a toddler bed. There are many ways to do this from reading stories about it, allowing them to pick out the bed and if you can, talking positively about toddler beds and older siblings, cousins, friends that are sleeping in one, and letting them pick out linens in their favorite theme and so on."
