Rosie Pope's Baby #2 Advice for Jessica Simpson
Embrace. The. Crazy.
Twice as nice or double trouble? Jessica Simpson -- who gave birth to daughter Maxwell Drew Johnson on May 1 -- recently announced that she’s already got another bun in her oven.
“For me, obviously it can be stressful but I was actually really happy,” Pregnant in Heels’ Rosie Pope says during The USA Game about having her own back-to-back pregnancies. Rosie and her husband Daron welcomed their daughter Vivienne Madison Pope less than two weeks after Maxwell’s debut and just 15 months after their second son's arrival.“Having my kids this close together has meant I’m in it. I’m up a lot at night, there’s diapers everywhere.”
Listen up, Jess. “My advice would be just to embrace the crazy because it’s going to be crazy,” Ro warns.
As for the fashion mogul’s fiancé Eric Johnson? “Just be really supportive,” our maternity maven offers up. “It’s really emotional after you have a baby. Your hormones are flying around and you need somebody that’s your rock and really supportive. Just look to your partner and see what she needs. She might need a night’s sleep, she might need you to help out with the feeding, she might need just some space. You just have to be really in tune to what she wants.” But no pressure, Eric.
