Ryan Serhant Details How He Almost Lost a Very Important Body Part
The Million Dollar Listing New York agent opens up about a trip to the hospital.
Ryan Serhant took to Instagram on Thursday to detail his scary trip to the hospital after he injured a very important body part. The Million Dollar Listing New York agent headed to NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital in downtown Manhattan after, he said, he "nearly lost my thumb."
He went into detail about his trip to the hospital, where he was joined by his wife, Emilia Bechrakis-Serhant, and even showed off the extent of his injuries. "Nearly lost my thumb tonight. But lots of stitches later from the amazing Dr. Ken Rose, and great care from everyone at NY Presbyterian Hospital downtown, and I will keep all 10 fingers," he wrote. "When I was a little kid, I had a really bad bike accident. My Dad came and found me crying, and once he checked me to make sure nothing was broken, he had me get back on the bike and ride it home. All I wanted was to have him carry me, but he said it was important to always get back on the bike. I never knew why until much later in life. Tonight I called home after leaving the hospital to tell him what happened. He asked me how I felt. I said, 'Hurts like hell, but I’m getting back on the bike.'”
Ryan shared that he's back to work "bright and early tomorrow" following the hospital trip, adding, "maybe with some pain killers though. #READYSETGO."
