Ryan Serhant Thinks Fredrik Eklund and Derek Kaplan "Will Be Incredible Fathers"
The #MDLNY agent is celebrating his pal's big news.
Now that Fredrik Eklund has confirmed that he and his husband, Derek Kaplan, are expecting twins via a surrogate later this year, one of his Million Dollar Listing New York pals is very excited for the Big Apple agent's next chapter. Ryan Serhant took to Instagram to congratulate Fredrik on his big baby news.
"All of this just happened. What an episode. What a life. What a season! What friends!!! What co-workers. Huge congratulations...to my friend...Fredrik, on his big news. Emilia and I are so happy for you and Derek," Ryan shared. "You will be incredible fathers."
The Daily Dish spoke to Fredrik about his baby news, and he shared he's pretty excited to meet his twins, a boy and a girl. "I don't know what's going to happen to me when I hold them finally," he said. "I don't even know what's going to happen to me. I can't even grasp. For us, since we're two men, and we have this wonderful surrogate and we have so many people that love in our family, but it's been a little bit abstract at times. So, for us, when we hold them, I think everything's going to change again."
In his heartwarming Instagram post, Ryan also shouted out his other MDLNY buddies, Luis D. Ortiz and Steve Gold, as well as his lovely wife, Emilia Bechrakis Serhant. "Emilia, my love, thank you for trusting me and staying by my side on OUR own roller coaster," he shared. "I know it's insane sometimes, and really fast with lots of twists and turns, but that's what seat belts are for."
Clearly, there's a lot of love in the crew.
