John Legend Mixed Up Some Very Famous Celebs at the SAG Awards
The La La Land actor had a momentary slip when gushing about his co-stars.
We all have brain farts, and if you're a celebrity, sometimes it happens on live TV at a major award show.
When John Legend stopped to talk to E! News on the Screen Actors Guild Awards red carpet Sunday night, he gushed all about his La La Land co-stars Ryan Gosling, Emma Stone, and J.K. Simmons — but accidentally confused the latter with Harry Potter author, J.K. Rowling. "I was just humbled to be in the presence of such greatness,” John said. “I mean, [Ryan Gosling's] obviously an experienced actor. Emma [Stone] is an experienced actor. We got J.K. Rowling Simmons — not Rowling — and so many great people in the film and I’m just happy to be a part of it,” he said with a laugh after he corrected himself.
