We Can All Relate to Shannon Beador's Stressful Driving Lesson with Daughter Sophie
The #RHOC mom is "panicked already" about her teen getting behind the wheel.
Shannon Beador's daughters aren't little girls anymore. In fact, Shannon's eldest child, Sophie Beador, just experienced a major milestone on the road to adulthood: getting her driver's permit.
The Real Housewives of Orange County mom announced the news on Instagram in a video capturing a driving lesson with Sophie, and she doesn't seem quite ready yet for her 15-year-old daughter to get behind the wheel. "OK, this is happening," Shannon began the video, which is captioned with "#impanickedalready." "Sophie just got her permit, and I let her drive to the market, and she just backed out."
In the video, Shannon instructs Sophie on "the rules of the road" as she drives around the parking lot of the market, helping her maneuver her way around other cars and look out for stop signs. Shannon points out that Sophie seems "a little nervous" during one of her first drives and that she's not quite ready to go for her license just yet. "Oh, sweetie. We're a little bit shaky right now," Shannon said. "We got a ways to go."
Ah, the pained look on Shannon's face and the unique combination of excitement and stress in Sophie's eyes should be immediately recognizable to anyone that has ever learned to drive with a parent. Good luck, Sophie (and Shannon)!
