The Real Housewives of Orange County Season 13 reunion marked about a year since Shannon Beador announced her separation from husband David Beador at the Season 12 sit-down in October 2017. Though Shannon has personally come a long way since last season of RHOC, she hasn't quite been able to fully start the next chapter of her life.

Shannon shared during the reunion that her divorce is not yet finalized after she officially filed on December 1, 2017. "When I announced our separation, our intent was to mediate and not go to court, but he didn't hire an attorney," Shannon shared at the reunion.

Since last season's reunion, Shannon and David have moved into separate houses. David now lives with his girlfriend and her children. Shannon said that her and David's three daughters (Sophie, 17, Stella, 14, and Adeline, 14) have enjoyed the time they've spent with him and his girlfriend. "My thing all along has been if someone is good to my kids, then I'm good with it," Shannon said, adding that she has also taken Tamra Judge's advice and given her children space as she and David navigate this new realm of co-parenting.

Shannon said that she has also been going out and meeting people, but she's not looking for someone to settle down with just yet. "I'm out, and that's what I want. If I meet the right person, that'll be great," she shared. "But for now, it's fun to get excited about meeting people and doing different things."

RHOC reunion host Andy Cohen commended Shannon on the journey she's taken throughout her five seasons on the show so far and how she now seems to be "thriving" after experiencing all of those difficult times. "Well, I have to say, where I am right now, I'm very excited for the future," Shannon said. "And there's a part of me that kind of likes that you don't know what's ahead because it kind of makes it a little bit more exciting."

The RHOC Season 13 reunion continues next Sunday at 9/8c. Watch a preview of what's to come, below.
