Shannon Beador Has Big Plans for Her New Home

Shannon Beador's palatial home never ceases to wow us on The Real Housewives of Orange County. However, earlier this season she revealed that she and her family have decided to downsize and find a new home.

We've already seen Shannon discuss the move with her daughters and scope out potential abodes, but have they found their new dream home just yet? "We have moved. We were in a very short escrow, a 14-day escrow, and they took our furniture, so you'll see that this season. It was a bit of a whirlwind trying to find a place to live," she recently told The Daily Dish (clip above). "So we're renting a house right now. It's a great piece of property. It's a little dated, but we're having a great time there."

Shannon said that she and her family plan to stay in their current rental home for "at least a year" because they "really like it." "What my plan is is that I'd like to buy a smaller home that I can kind of rip to the studs, or rip the insides out and make it my own," she explained. "But this time, I'm gonna go a little bit more modern, I promised the kids."

The RHOC mom has just one must for her next home. "For me, what's so important is to make the home healthy, so I would want to use non-toxic materials and make the air clean and just make it a healthy home," Shannon said. "So that would be the most important thing for me."

And yes, you can probably expect to find nine lemons in a bowl somewhere in Shannon's next crib. "Absolutely, feng shui would be part of it," Shannon said. "My feng shui consultant has come to the new house, and it's not good feng shui, so I've got to implement all the things that she said."

There was one signature aspect of Shannon's house that was hard for her family to say goodbye to. "It's funny, because we asked the kids this recently, and they miss the basketball court the most because they would go literally down there every single day," she said. "But it's funny, we're all OK with it. I thought that I would be really sad and crying for months, and we were good. I mean, it was sad leaving at the moment that we did, but we're happy."
