Mohamed Hadid's Fiancée Shiva Safai Recalls the Ultra-Romantic Moment When He Proposed

If you ever thought that love at first sight is just a myth, Mohamed Hadid's fiancée Shiva Safai is here to confirm that it is definitely a real thing. In fact, when she met her now-future husband several years back, she felt an immediate spark for him.

The Second Wives Club star recently sat down with The Daily Dish and shared the back story about her and Mohamed's romance. She said that she met the real estate mogul "very randomly" one day in Beverly Hills at a restaurant. She added, "It was almost love at first sight, I want to say, and it was that instant attraction. And we exchanged phone numbers and the rest is history."

Then came the time for the couple to take their relationship to the next level. Mohamed asked Shiva to marry him back in 2014, about two years after they started dating. And now we know exactly how it happened. "We traveled to Bali for Christmas and New Year's Eve. He proposed to me. He caught me by surprise," she recalled. "And I was just bawling. He always makes fun of me saying, 'You never answered my question.' And I'm just like, 'I did, but I was crying so much so I was caught by surprise.' But it was a great surprise and I did say yes."

Which brings us to now. And as we saw in a trailer for her upcoming E! show, Shiva is wondering when the couple will finally walk down the aisle. While we don't know the date yet, she has definitely thought about how she wants the wedding to look and feel. "I would like to keep it very simple and timeless and elegant," she teased about her future wedding. "I think that would be the three keys of my wedding inspiration."

And you can bet that Mohamed's famous offspring are definitely on the guest list for their big day. "We're all family," she said. "Of course Mohamed would love for all his children to be there."
