If you can't wait until The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss debuts her new video, "Leave U," tonight on BET, sink your teeth into our behind-the-scenes sneak peek.
The clip debuts on tonight's 106 & Park, but our cameras were on the set, where Kandi told us the shoot was nonstop drama.
"We had so many crazy things to happen," Kandi says. "The police kicked us out of the hotel at first, then something else happened, then something else happened." You know, just another day at work.
Kandi turned to director Darren Grant for "Leave U," her follow-up to the chart-topper "Fly Above," but told us she came up with the video treatment herself. Co-writer and lead actor Von explains, "People do so much to get a person, they don't know it's twice as much to keep them."
Kandi promises the long, drama-filled hours on set paid off. "This was really work, but I always say when things go crazy, that means the end result is going to be amazing."
After you check out our behind-the-scenes footage, you can catch Kandi the 106 & Park studio tonight for the premiere. Early this morning, she tweeted to fans: "Heade 2 NY! About to shut off my phone now. Good night yall! Make sure you watch 106&park on BET I'll be premiering my new video 4 'Leave U'"
But when she landed, things weren't so good: "Just got to NY. That flight was long & horrible. I feel like I caught pneumonia on the plane... This sucks!"
Oh no! Good luck, Kandi, and hope you feel better! We would hate for you to be "Tardy for the Party" tonight! (Sorry, we had to.)
