Solange Knowles' Wedding: Bevy Weighs In
The 'Fashion Queens' host sounds off on her "chic" gown and ceremony.
Beyoncé's baby sis is a married woman!
Solange Knowles tied the knot with Alan Ferguson in New Orleans on Sunday—and, of course, the couple did it in high style.
The singer and her beau arrived to the wedding on bicycle, wearing chic all-white outfits. And Solange's pantsuit and cape look was designed by Stéphone Rolland—so naturally we wanted to know what Fashion Queens host Bevy Smith thought about the look.
It turns out, she's pals with the bride. "I hosted a Dinner With Bevy for Solange in 2008 and even back then in the middle of everyone attempting to be the next Beyoncé—Solange was her own person," Bevy tells the Dish. "Her style has continued to evolve over the years but her wedding ensembles take the entire cake!"
Bevy loved everything about Solange's ceremony. "From arriving on a bike in a sleek and simply chic Stéphane Rolland jumpsuit to her gorgeous and regal Humberto Leon for Kenzo wedding dress and cape, she was the epitome of a free spirit and a truly MODERN bride."
