Luann D'Agostino Doesn't Know Why Sonja Morgan Is Acting So "Harsh" Toward Tinsley Mortimer
"She would never treat me that way. That is for sure," the #RHONY mom's former roommate said.
Sonja Morgan has taken Tinsley Mortimer under her wing this season of The Real Housewives of New York City as the rookie gets acclimated to Big Apple living again. That not only includes a room at Lady Morgan's townhouse but also some pecking at the newbie from the RHONY mom on everything from roommate etiquette to rules about her love life.
This has caused a lot of tension between Sonja and Tinsley this season, and it doesn't show signs of stopping anytime soon. So who's right and who's wrong in this roomie battle royale?
Who better than Sonja's former houseguest, Luann D'Agostino, to weigh in on the matter. "She's being a little harsh on Tinsley, I think. She's being kind of all mother hen-ish, which is so not Sonja. So I'm surprised," Luann said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen After Show Wednesday night. "I think she feels protective of Tinsley, in a way. And she would never treat me that way. That is for sure not. But I think [Tinsley is] young and finding her way in New York. So Sonja's a little bit tough on her."
RHONY alum Jill Zarin agreed with Luann, adding that the way Sonja is behaving with Tinsley is "not her" and that she doesn't understand any of the drama involving Sonja's assistant. "It doesn't make sense," Jill said on WWHL. "It's not her personality."
Tinsley recently opened up about all the house drama with Sonja in one of her Bravotv.com blogs last month. "Having returned from the Hamptons, Sonja was tired and wanted to take a nap, as she had said, so I simply asked [her assistant] Connor if he could open the door to the driver who was bringing back the hats I had accidentally left inside his car. I was going out to get something to eat, and I didn't know what time the driver would get there or IF he was even coming that day, but I didn't want the doorbell to disturb Sonja," Tinsley explained. "That is it! I never expected her to react the way she did and imply that I was using Connor, her assistant, therefore taking advantage of her. Sonja has been a generous friend to me by inviting me to stay in New York. The LAST thing I want is for her to feel taken advantage of."
