Sorry Haters: Heather Dubrow "Can't Do" Breast Implants

Heather Dubrow’s husband is a famed plastic surgeon — with his own reality show to prove it — but that doesn’t mean that the Real Housewives of Orange County star feels any pressure to get work done. In fact, it’s the exact opposite. "Being married to a plastic surgeon, everyone assumes I’ve had everything done,” she told HuffPost Live this week. “But this is my body and my face.”

Heather's recent trip to Hawaii brought her lack of cosmetic surgery back into coversation, thanks to a few vacation pics. “People started body shaming me for not having a chest,” she said of the photos she shared on Instagram. “I did when I was younger, but after four kids, they literally suck the life out of you and that's it."

"I'm married to a plastic surgeon and I live in Orange County," she continued. "It's just too cliche to have implants, I can't do it. There’s nothing wrong with [breast implants]. I think it's fabulous and I think whatever you do that makes you feel good about your body and yourself, I'm 100 percent behind." Husband Terry, who has been outspoken about his wife’s lack of need for cosmetic procedures, supports her stance. The two continue to work together on their skincare line, Consult Beaute, where the goal is to find non-surgical solutions to getting older  — although Heather admits that strategy is a bit self-motivated. “For us it’s always been about non-surgical solutions to anti-aging because I need to put him out of business — I need him at home," she joked. "Stop getting plastic surgery, everyone.”
