Naomie Olindo Calls Out J.D. Madison

The news of J.D. Madison and Elizabeth Madison's separation has come as a shock to the Southern Charm crew and fans of the series alike. So when Naomie Olindo came face-to-face with J.D. at Shep Rose's birthday party (clip above), she wanted to get some clarity on a few rumors about their relationship that had been circulating around town. Naomie also accused J.D. of not being a good husband and father.

How to Watch

Elizabeth addressed the accusations against J.D. during a recent interview with The Daily Dish via email. "This season, after just watching the first two episodes, my jaw hit the floor. For J.D. to be attacked like that is not acceptable. It was an unprovoked attack at a very inappropriate place," Elizabeth explained. "Naomie took some things I had shared with her in private and mixed them with lies, rumors, and her own personal judgments to cast J.D. in a negative light. It was so hurtful — and J.D. has only treated those girls with respect and kindness. It isn't in his nature to be mean or cruel to others. Since nobody at the party stood up for J.D., I am forced to set the record straight. J.D. is a wonderful human being filled with love, strength, and sensitivity.  He is an amazing and loving father."

Elizabeth expressed a similar sentiment about Naomie's comments on Twitter as the episode aired. "There is nothing worse than having what you thought was a friend make false allegations & take my PRIVACY & my OWN voice away! She is making allegations about JD & my family that are not true!" Elizabeth tweeted. "This has hurt me more than I can express. This BS didn’t come from me!”

However, Naomie said on Twitter that Elizabeth was aware of all of the issues she brought up to J.D. at Shep's birthday party before and after the event. "Of course everything I said tonight was approved before AND discussed after with Liz. Sad to see her covering for him again," she tweeted. "I wish you the best @lizcharleston1."

Elizabeth told The Daily Dish that she was also upset to hear Chelsea Meissner call J.D. "a con artist." "As for Chelsea saying he is a con artist, if I had been there, I would have lost it. That could not be further from the truth," she said. "I think J.D. did the right thing by not being drawn into a fight with a bunch of girls. He is a gentleman and it shows."

J.D. thanked Elizabeth for sticking by him amid these allegations. "Hard episode to watch. Thank you for being a good friend, Elizabeth. I’m glad none of this BS came from you," J.D. said on Twitter Thursday night. "Good thing I got there late, or it would have been me on the grill! Lord help me!"

As Elizabeth and J.D. remain separated and continue to figure out what's next for their relationship, she's asking that their friends and Southern Charm fans respect their privacy during this difficult time. "Like any married couple, we had our private struggles. And those struggles are ours, just as the private romantic moments are ours. The difficulties, like the cherished moments, belong to us," Elizabeth said. "Lastly, when it comes to the details of our relationship, that is OUR business... not anybody else's."

The drama continues in an all-new episode of Southern Charm Thursday at 9/8c. Check out a preview, below.
