Summer House's Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula Experienced a Major First at Their Engagement Party

Ring? Check. Proposal? Check. She said yes? Check. Now that Kyle Cooke and Amanda Batula are officially engaged, there's only one thing left to do: party. And party Kyle and Amanda did as they celebrated their engagement with friends and family last weekend. 

Kyle looked as dapper as ever at the fête, while Amanda proved that she looks absolutely stunning in an all-white ensemble (although we have to admit the outfit looked a little similar to Stassi Schroeder's white swimsuit during that awkward hot tub moment with Kyle in Season 1 of Summer House. This guy just can't seem to get away from turtlenecks, are we right? )

But what was really major about Kyle and Amanda's engagement party was that it was the first time that all of their parents got to meet each other. "OUR PARENTS FINALLY MET! What a perfect weekend and amazing engagement party thanks to Amanda's parents," Kyle gushed on Instagram. "Feeling like the luckiest and happiest guy in the world."

Some familiar faces also attended the festivities, including Carl Radke, Lindsay Hubbard, and Danielle Olivera. "Had the most amazing time this weekend surrounded by friends & family and filled with so much love. We could not have asked for a more special way to kick off the rest of our lives together," Amanda shared on Instagram. "Thank you to everyone who helped make our day so perfect. I am one lucky lady."

Amanda also shared her and Kyle's all-important wedding hashtag: "#MrMrsSendIt." And you know send it is exactly what they'll do at their wedding. 

Though Kyle and Amanda have experienced some ups and downs in their relationship since first meeting in 2015, the couple showed their commitment to one another at the end of Summer House Season 2. Amanda told PEOPLE in September that it feels "surreal" to now be engaged to Kyle. “Aside from how funny and sexy he is, Kyle’s my best friend. He’s the person I go to for everything. And he forces me to be a better person in different ways by pushing me outside of my comfort zone," she shared. "Life with him is exciting. And to think he wants to spend the rest our his life with me and I feel the same way, it’s just a real happy feeling.”

Kyle also couldn't help but gush about why Amanda is the one during the same interview with PEOPLE. “Amanda’s the most authentic, genuine person I’ve ever met. I really look up to her. She’s incredibly selfless, thoughtful, generous and accommodating. She puts family and friends as the top priority, and bends over backwards for the people that are important to her," he said. "That’s what you look for in someone you want to spend the rest of your life with. She’s a hell of a partner.”
