Summer House's Ashley Wirkus Has Something to Say About Lauren Wirkus' Drama Surrounding Her Relationship with Carl Radke

It looks like Lauren Wirkus and Carl Radke's on-again, off-again romance may be back on again after the two were caught canoodling in Monday night's episode of Summer House. Of course, everyone in the house had something to say about that — even one person not currently hanging with the crew in the Hamptons. 

Lauren's sister Ashley Wirkus has been vocal about her feelings about her twin hooking up with Carl in the past (read: she's not a fan of them as a couple). However, Ashley came to Lauren's defense on Instagram Monday amid all of the drama she's been experiencing when it comes to her relationship with Carl on Summer House. "If only people knew you like I know you @laurenwirkus because I know you are an Incredible friend and person who is so loving and caring, and just like all of us, is HUMAN!" Ashley shared on Instagram. "Of course alcohol mixed with real emotions can get the best of us sometimes! Don’t say it hasn’t happened to you before."

Lauren addressed her recent blowup with Lindsay Hubbard in Monday night's episode and clapped back at her haters on Instagram. "I am definitely not perfect I’m HUMAN and I make plenty of mistakes. One thing that is for sure is I couldn’t do it without this woman standing next to me  She is more than a friend she is a sister my rock especially when @ashleynmcatee wasn’t there and YES just like sisters we fight like it, drink like it but most importantly LOVE like it! I love you Lindsay Hubbard @lindshubbs and am so grateful for the beautiful friendship we have," Lauren wrote. "I hope everyone can continue to follow our journey because it’s been a wild ride and only going up from here! P.S. if you have negative comments please keep them to yourself because women should empower women not tear them down."

In case you were wondering why Lauren would get back together with Carl, considering things didn't end so well between them last season, she previously explained everything in an interview with ET. “It's very hard to be two feet away from someone that you've sort of had this emotional attachment, a relationship, with,” she said. “I'm not gonna lie: I'm a girl, like, I'm in a house. Obviously, we do have chemistry. Even when we're fighting, I'm like, 'Oh my gosh, what is going on with us?'”
