Taylor Armstrong: My Husband Is Adopting Kennedy

The newlywed also reflects on Russell's tragic suicide—and how she told her daughter.

Taylor Armstrong has found the husband of her dreams—and now she's making her family bond even stronger.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Peacock and the Bravo App.

The former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star reveals her new husband John Bluher is in the process of adopting her daughter, Kennedy, she tells Us Weekly.

"[I'm] incredibly lucky," says Taylor, who tied the knot last month in a beautiful beachside ceremony with fellow Housewives Lisa Vanderpump, Kyle Richards, and Adrienne Maloof.

In one of the most revealing interviews she's given, Taylor also opened up about the tragic suicide of her husband Russell, with whom she endured an abusive marriage.

Reflecting on how she explained his 2011 death to her daughter Kennedy, Taylor says, "I think she does maybe know that he took his life and it probably happened just because there was so much talk about it. Whether it was her overhearing something...but I get the impression that she knows it was by his own hands. Really, that was something that I preferred for her not to know until she was much older."

But Taylor isn't one to live in the past—and now that she's happily married once again, she's focusing on her career. She says she hopes to move into scripted television after Housewives and a stint on VH1's Couples Therapy. "I've auditioned for some scripted things," she says. "I don't know that they were the perfect role, but I'm just trying to get that under my belt, because it's new for me."
