Teresa Giudice: I Never Threatened Melissa

Teresa Giudice has made big strides in reconciling with her estranged brother Joe Gorga and his wife Melissa Gorga—particularly at their family retreat in Lake George, shown on last night's episode. But there have been occasional bumps along to way to total forgiveness.

Teresa has taken to her blog to clarify comments she previously made about Melissa—specifically, that she had dirt on Melissa and her marriage that she would make public.

"Me saying last week that Melissa was 'lucky' I didn't spread lies about her marriage like she did about mine, was simply that: I haven't, wouldn't, and won't. It wasn't a threat that I was going to expose something about her, and I'm sorry she took it that way," she writes. "I was trying to explain my disbelief and devastation that the same person who has claimed for years I was trying to break up her marriage, when nothing about her marriage has ever come out of my mouth, actually said those horrible lies about mine. For a family member to say that is truly terrible, because it plants a seed that maybe they know something other people don't. Melissa might have no problem doing that to me, but I wanted to explain that I would never do that to her. She is my family, and I would never want my nieces or my daughters to hear something untrue and hurtful about her marriage."

While Melissa does not address those rumors in her blog this week, she does thank Dr. V for helping them mend some of their differences. "Watching this episode put me back to that day and I want to hold on to that positive feeling," she writes. "When people hug and make up, for me, it’s done. The slate is clean. You can’t forget everything that happened, but you start from a new baseline each time. A new beginning is a new beginning. When at peace, there’s nothing you could do to make me start up again. As Joe said, 'She’s easy.' Peace is my natural set point. If I’m forced out of that place, I don’t feel right until I can get back there."

Caroline Manzo also approved of Dr. V's approach to family therapy. "I liked Dr. V's direct approach attitude; she took no nonsense and called you out when you needed it. In other words, she understood them, she knew the mentality of everyone in the room, and she spoke their language. She worked miracles!"

Kathy Wakile may not have gotten any Dr. V time, but was relieved that she could still work through her issues with Teresa. "I was so glad to have the opportunity to say my piece to Teresa and she to me, and at the same time we both were open to really hear each other."

Jacqueline Laurita takes a lighter tone in her weekly recap, reflecting on the hilarious moment where husband Chris opens up about the first time he masturbated (with a sock!). Chris says he "found himself" by the time he was 11—which made Laurita laugh hysterically. Looking back, she says, "It's kind of funny that I never heard that sock story before though. LOL! I'm glad he shared that with everyone. Please note neither one of us were talking about our son. Chris was telling a story from his OWN childhood so 'don't get it twisted.'"
