Jacqueline Laurita "Couldn't Believe" Teresa Giudice Said She Set Her Up
The #RHONJ mom defends herself after those shocking reunion allegations.
Teresa Giudice made some jaws literally drop (we're looking at you, Andy Cohen, Siggy Flicker, and Dolores Catania) when she accused Jacqueline Laurita of setting her up and calling the government, setting in motion the legal troubles that would eventually lead to her serving 11 months in prison in 2015 after pleading guilty to fraud charges.
Teresa went on to say that Jacqueline and The Real Housewives of New Jersey alum Caroline Manzo were "in cahoots" in trying to get her sent to jail. Jacqueline vehemently denied Teresa's claims, saying they were "entirely not true," and she continued to defend herself on Twitter as the reunion aired Sunday night, seeming just as shocked by the allegations as the users she was responding to.
Jacqueline said that Teresa's accusations didn't make any sense to her. "What would I have possibly known?I found out when public did," she tweeted Sunday. "[Teresa] was already in trouble. We were friends when investigation started."
Caroline has yet to publicly respond to Teresa's allegations. As for Teresa, she has kept pretty quiet about what went down during Part 1 of the RHONJ Season 7 reunion Sunday night, although she did post some pics of herself having a ball with Siggy and Dolores this weekend.
