Shamea shared the happy news at her 36th birthday party on Sunday, May 13. Her RHOA friends Porsha Williams, Kandi Burruss, and Shereé Whitfield were all in attendance to hear Shamea's announcement, according to Us Weekly. In fact, Porsha predicted that Shamea might be expecting before anyone else knew. “No one knew except my husband and my sister,” Shamea told Us. “Porsha was trying to give me Hennessy, I was telling her I was waiting for my birthday to drink. She knew I was lying, she was like, ‘Bitch you are pregnant.’"

Kandi sent some birthday love to Shamea on Instagram, as did Porsha. "Screaming Happy Birthday to my boo @shameamorton!!" Porsha gushed in the caption to a post featuring several pics from the party. "So many things you have prayed for are happening and you deserve every bit of it! Love you [to] the moon boo."

Shamea told Us Weekly that she and Gerald will reveal the gender of their baby on their first wedding anniversary on July 22, but neither of them know if they're having a boy or a girl at this time. Shamea said that she and her husband "just want a healthy baby."

The RHOA friend previously opened up to The Daily Dish about life with her man last April as the two prepared to tie the knot in Kenya. "He is amazing. He is definitely [a] godsend. And they say you got to kiss a couple of frogs before you get your Prince Charming, and that is definitely what he is," Shamea gushed. "I think about where I was five years ago even, and I think about where I am now, and all I can say is, ‘God, he is so good, and he is so merciful, and he is so understanding, and he is so patient and forgiving.' And it’s nothing but his work that brought us together."

Shamea isn't the only Georgia Peach expecting these days. Kenya Moore is also getting ready to welcome her first child with husband Marc Daly in late 2018.
