NeNe Leakes Has Some Surprising New Thoughts on Shereé Whitfield's Relationship with Tyrone Gilliams

Shereé Whitfield's relationship with Tyrone Gilliams, who is currently in prison, has definitely sparked some chatter among The Real Housewives of Atlanta. NeNe Leakes, who has had a bit of a past with Tyrone, has had the most to say among the Georgia Peaches about Shereé's new beau, going so far as to call him a "con artist" earlier this season. 

But it sounds like NeNe has now changed her tune about Shereé and Tyrone. NeNe commented on the relationship during an appearance on LIVE with Kelly and Ryan during the show's filming in the Bahamas this week. "You know what, I think him and Shereé are still going strong," NeNe told Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest. "I'm so happy for her dating a prisoner. I mean, I think that's what I should be saying, because as soon as I say something about it, it's like, 'You're talking about my boyfriend!' No, I think he's the perfect man for her. I do."

NeNe and Shereé have thrown barbs back-and-forth all season long surrounding Tyrone, including bringing up each other's past mugshots. Tyrone even responded to NeNe's "con artist" comments during a phone call with Shereé on RHOA. "Let's just say this. NeNe would never want to speak anything negatively about me," he told his boo. "She don't want to go down that road." 

Tyrone was previously at the center of that major blowup in Season 4 of RHOA between NeNe and Shereé in which NeNe uttered the iconic phrase, "I am very rich, bitch." Shereé also said earlier this season of RHOA that NeNe had met Tyrone before she did and suggested they have been more than just friends in the past.
