Bethenny Frankel Shares That Dennis Shields Would Have Been "So Proud" of Her Latest Accomplishment
The RHONY mogul remembered her late loved one during her Skinnygirl Jeans launch on HSN.
Bethenny Frankel has done it again! The Real Housewives of New York City mogul debuted her Skinnygirl Jeans on HSN Thursday, and she sold out of her new denim line during the night.
However, there's one person Bethenny wishes was there to share in her success: her late on-off boyfriend Dennis Shields, who passed away on August 10. But Bethenny knows that Dennis is still cheering her on. "I really hope they have @HSN in heaven because Dennis is watching & he would be so proud. #sellout," Bethenny tweeted Thursday.
Fans watched Bethenny develop Skinnygirl Jeans in Season 10 of RHONY. The line officially launched in September.
Bethenny previously reflected on losing Dennis during an interview with Extra at the launch of her Skinnygirl Jeans line at Macy's Herald Square on September 12. “It’s definitely been a different kind of summer. I am thinking about Dennis today because he would have been so happy about this launch," she shared. "He was the most excited when I was working and successful and he was a cheerleader, so he would have been counting the numbers and looking on the website and asking how many pairs of jeans and jean jackets we sold… he's definitely with me here tonight.”
Bethenny took fans inside Skinnygirl Jeans' HSN debut in her Instagram Story on Thursday, sharing a behind-the-scenes look at the set.

She also thanked fans for making the Skinnygirl Jeans launch such a success. "OMG you're all too good to me! I'm not worthy!" she gushed in her Instagram Story. "You guys are AMAZING!!!"
