Tamra shared on Instagram Tuesday that she recently underwent a "skin check" under one of her breasts. "First my butt now my boob," Tamra wrote, referencing that her past melanoma diagnosis was found on her buttocks. "Whole new meaning to T&A #skincheck #keeponkeepingon #underMeboob."

The Real Housewives of Orange County mom has long been open about her skin cancer journey and has raised awareness about the importance of getting your skin checked regularly on Instagram. Tamra has not only shown what melanoma has looked like on her body, but she has also documented the procedures she has undergone to prevent any skin cancer from advancing on Instagram.

I work out ð hard for this Booty. I was planning on competing again in November at 50 years old, but I'm not sure that's happening ð© now. it looks like God has a different plan for me. Im showing you this picture because this is what melanoma looks like. I don't want sympathy, I want you to save YOUR ASS and get your skin checked . This was just a small black flat freckle.... Thank you for all the well wishes and prayers. Yesterday was my first visit to the Hoag cancer institute to meet with the amazing Dr Eisenberg (loved him). He explained everything to me and How lucky I am I caught it before it advanced. I walked out with a new tattoo (marker), folder, Surgury date and a feeling of relief. #skincancerawareness #getyourskinchecked #melanomajourney #melanomastage1

So many asking what my melanoma looked like before biopsy. Here you go! All my prior post where after biopsy. Im a fair skinned Irish girl with more freckles than I wanted. I baked in the tanning beds and laid in the sun most my life because I hated my skin. According to @cacoastalderm they are seeing more melanoma cases than ever. The 80 & 90's baking in the sun with baby oil and tinfoil blankets have caught up to us. The sun is only one causing factor. So don't think if you never baked in the sun you're clear. Especially my red headed friends. #melanomaawareness
