The Top Chef 14 Location Is...

#TopChef is taking on a brand-new city next season.

By Laura Rosenfeld

Season 13 of Top Chef just found its winner, so that means it's time for the rest of us to pack up our knives and go... to the next Top Chef location. And we have the inside scoop on where the Season 14 Cheftestants will be sauteing.

How to Watch

Watch the Top Chef Season 21 premiere on Wednesday, March 20 at 9/8c on Bravo and next day on Peacock.

That lucky city is Charleston, South Carolina. Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi and head judge Tom Colicchio, will be back when Top Chef takes on the south later this year, as well as Gail Simmons and Richard Blais to round out that Judges' Table.

Charleston has built up a booming restaurant scene over the past few years, so the chefs should find no shortage of inspiration in this picturesque riverfront metropolis. “Charleston is the perfect location to inject our next batch of chefs," Shari Levine, the executive vice president of current production at Bravo Media, said in a statement. "We know Charleston and are excited by the food, people and possibility it brings with its rich cultural and historical background which has played an important role in shaping South Carolina’s unique cuisine.”

Helen T. Hill, the CEO of the Charleston Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, added, “We are thrilled that Top Chef has chosen Charleston, South Carolina as the site for season fourteen. As the Southeast’s premier dining destination, we look forward to sharing our 300 year culinary heritage with Top Chef’s passionate and devoted viewers.”

Of course, many Bravo fans may already know Charleston and some of its southern gentlemen and ladies very well from watching Southern Charm, which will be returning for its third season on April 4 at 9/8c. We'll have to wait and see if things heat up as much for the Top Chef 14 contestants in Charleston as they tend to do for the Southern Charm gang.

The Top Chef 13 winner was revealed during the season finale Thursday night with Jeremy Ford beating out fellow finalist Amar Santana for the top prize. Andy Cohen also announced that Isaac Toups was voted Top Chef Fan Favorite, earning him a $10,000 prize, during Thursday's Watch What Happens Live.

We can't wait to see what the cheftestants cook up during Season 14 Top Chef. Until then, check out photos from behind-the-scenes of the Season 13 finale, below.
