The Daily Dish Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen

The 'WWHL' Hangover With Jenny McCarthy

Exclusive: The blonde bombshell dishes on her first time in Andy's Clubhouse.

By Mike Hess

Jenni McCarthy on Watch What Happens Live
If there were ever a guest perfectly suited for Watch What Happens Live, it's Jenny McCarthy. She's never been one to shy away from an honest answer, is game to do pretty much anything -- and all with a smile on her face and a martini glass in hand.

So, after making her first appearance in Andy Cohen's Clubhouse on Tuesday night, The Dish wanted to catch up with the actress and author of her new book Bad Habits: Confessions of a Recovering Catholic, to ask all of the tough questions. Or, namely, to find out what happened to her Sharpie mustache after the show. Behold, the latest installation of The WWHL Hangover:

First and foremost: Did the Sharpie mustache come off? How much scrubbing did it take?

You know what? It came off so easily, it wasn't even an issue. I did wear it out though --  I went to a bar afterwards, Employees Only, and had a few drinks with my mustache and everyone seemed to enjoy it.

What was your overall impression of the show, this being your first time on?

It was fun, intimate, it was laxed. Being part of the different segments and playing games, it makes it feel like a party instead of a job. I knew that I was probably going to be a pretty good guest because you have to be fun and honest and open. Plead the Fifth made me laugh because I've never pleaded the fifth on anything, so of course I answered all the questions.

You seemed to be enjoying the drinks -- what was in your martini glass?
Lemondrop martini -- it is my drink of choice.

Was that the first time you've ever licked someone's face on television?
No -- I think there's been many instances, because on Singled Out I probably did it multiple times.

Your admission about the McRib obsession was hysterical. When was the last time you had one -- and when will they be back?
When it was out last year in November. According to the McRib locator on Twitter, we don't know [when they'll be back] but they will alert me when there's one in the country.

Was there anything about the night that stood out to you as a really great or funny moment?
I thought Donnie was kind of -- first of all a really nice guy -- but also very honest about his list of who he'd have sex with if he was gay, and chose his band member -- to me was the most interesting part of the evening. I would have liked to explored that but didn't have the chance.

You answered all three questions on Plead the Fifth. Say you had to ask someone else the questions where you're the host of PTF -- who would you want to be in the hot seat?
Maybe one of my ex boyfriends. I'd love to question them on some s---. It would be pointed. Like 'Have you ever cheated on me?'

Your new book is out this week. Is there a certain story or chapter in it you think Bravo fans would love?
For the Bravo audience, there's a chapter called "I See Dead People," and it starts off with: "I never really believed that people could see ghosts until the night I swallowed five hits of Ecstasy." That chapter is a classic.
