Every Thursday, celebrate #TBT with us as we open the vault to share photos of Bravolebrities before they were famous--or revisit memorable moments from our shows. This week, we re-visit Caroline Manzo and Danielle Staub’s explosive sit down.
If there’s one thing we’ve learned over the years on RHONJ, it’s not to mess with anyone’s family. Ironically, fighting within the family seems to be not only tolerated, but also expected. Yet, attacks that come from outside the confines of the family tree are forbidden.
Just ask former RHONJ Housewife Danielle, who became a lightning rod of controversy over her differences with the Manzo family, as well as the other 'Wives. After much deliberation, this intense Housewives feud that spanned two seasons long culminated in a meeting of the minds between Danielle and Caroline to try and settle things once and for all.
"When I stand, I don’t stand alone. I stand with my family,” Caroline said. However, our favorite part has to be Caroline’s stern, lecturing words that ended it with Danielle for good. “No matter how hard you try. No matter what you do. No matter who you talk to. Okay, you will not hurt me. Do you know why? I have integrity. Okay, and I sit here and I tell you the truth. Okay, and when I called you garbage, I meant that you were garbage. Okay? Have a nice life."
While Caroline has moved on from RHONJ drama, you can still catch the matriarch in action on the all-new show, Manzo’d With Children! Watch a sneak peek below:
