Tom Colicchio Trades his Knife for an Axe

The Top Chef judge flexes his musical muscles.

If the sight of Tom Colicchio wielding a knife makes you swoon, wait until you see him with a guitar.

The Top Chef judge, restaurateur and all around bon vivant showed off his musical chops Wednesday night at the launch of his new venture, New York's Riverpark.

Tom's newest culinary outpost opened a few weeks ago, but he officially feted Riverpark in a grand opening party this week. As a part of the celebration Tom strapped on a guitar and lead the band through Warren Zevon's "Lawyers, Guns And Money." Yes, he sings too. Don't weep -- NBC's Feast TV caught the action, including Tom's pre-set warning, "I hope everyone's drunk, it'll sound a lot better."

Some members of the Top Chef family were there to celebrate with Tom, including Gail Simmons (looking ecstatic on the red carpet).
