Tom Sandoval Explains His Tendency to Shed a Few Tears on Vanderpump Rules

Whether he's having a heart-to-heart with Tom Schwartz about his future with Katie Maloney-Schwartz in a recent episode of Vanderpump Rules or closing the chapter on his relationship with Kristen Doute, Tom Sandoval has been known to shed a few tears on the show over the years. "I think that's mostly just CG [computer graphics]," Tom joked when The Daily Dish brought up the SURver's weepy moments during a recent interview. 

But Tom's not afraid to admit that he's in touch with his emotions. "It's weird, I feel like the older I get, the more emotional I become," he explained. "It just happens. The thing is too, a lot of stuff that we've gone through on the show has been very emotional. The cameras have been there to see a lot of things go down in my life and all of our lives that have been pretty epic moments, good and bad. So we keep it real."

The SURver revealed that he does sometimes get "sh**" from fans about being emotional, but he knows that he can't let it get to him. "I can't be in my head about stuff like that because then our show wouldn't be what it was and what it is," he said. "And that's why I feel like our show is so great because we are emotionally available."

Plus, you can't please everyone. "People are gonna find something to give you sh** about regardless of what you do," Tom's girlfriend, Ariana Madix, said during the interview with The Daily Dish, in her boyfriend's defense. 

Tom said to expect more emotional moments on the way, including some tears of joy when Schwartz and Katie tie the knot, as we've previously seen in the trailer for this season. "There's a lot coming up before the road to the altar, and it's gonna get good. It's gonna get really good," Tom teased. "And yes, emotions are gonna fly."
