Katie Maloney-Schwartz Is "Proud" of Herself and Tom Schwartz for "Overcoming It All" on Their Anniversary
The #PumpRules couple gushed about their love on their first wedding anniversary.
It's a big day for the Bubbas. Tom Schwartz and Katie Maloney-Schwartz celebrated their first wedding anniversary Thursday.
The couple tied the knot in front of friends and families (including the whole Vanderpump Rules crew and Tom's beloved triplet brothers) at the Twenty Mile House in Northern California on August 17, 2016. The lovely nuptials were featured last season of Vanderpump Rules, which you'll definitely want to relive in the video, above.
Katie penned a heartwarming tribute to her hubby on Instagram Thursday. "1 year ago today I married my best friend, my bubba, my Nandi wahoo. It's hard to imagine everything we've been through and not acknowledge how proud I am of us and our love for over coming it all," the SURver gushed. "You have been the best husband and continue to be my best friend. I thought I couldn't love you anymore than I did one year ago today. Boy was I wrong."
Tom also commemorated the occasion with some romantic words for his wife. "Today marks one year from the happiest day of my life," he wrote on Instagram. "Love you so much bub."
Though they've experienced a year of wedded bliss, that doesn't mean the Vanderpump Rules couple hasn't been the subject of rumors about their relationship. "We are madly in love," Katie shut down speculation that there may be trouble in paradise for the couple during an interview with E! News in June. "I feel like marriage really suits us. We've been through so much, especially since last summer."
Katie also put haters in their place when she addressed those who question the longevity of the Vanderpump Rules' couple's relationship on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen last December. "I expected people to say that," she said. "I've been seeing all kinds of nonsense. We know when we wake up every day with each other, we're gonna be on our rocking chairs being like, 'Remember when all those people didn't believe in us?' We really are in it for the long haul."
