The Daily Dish Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen

Find Out the Priceless Advice Andy Cohen Gave One Tony Nominee

Eclipsed's Saycon Sengbloh reveals the powerful wisdom Andy shared with her during her appearance on #WWHL.

By Jocelyn Vena

When you stop by the Watch What Happens Live Clubhouse, you have no idea what's going to go down. And if you're lucky, sometimes one of those things just so happens to be Andy Cohen dishing out some sage life advice. "He was so sweet," Eclipsed actress Saycon Sengbloh told The Daily Dish of her run-in with Andy while she served as WWHL bartender back in May. "The things that he said about being in business and about working and being happy about what you have was so inspiring to me."

How to Watch

Tune in to WWHL on Bravo Sunday through Thursday and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Saycon on the set of WWHL in May.

She just may need to keep that advice in mind this weekend with the Tony Awards taking place on Sunday, June 12. Saycon is nominated for Best Performance by a Featured Actress in a Play for her performance in Eclipsed, and she's still reeling from the news of her nomination. "It feels amazing," she said. "This is my tenth production contract, including two tours and eight Broadway shows, and to finally have a Tony nomination doing a show with material that's this important makes it so much more meaningful for me."

And you can bet that for such an important night, Saycon already has her look on lock "I have Edwing D'angelo designing a gown for me and the editors of Vogue magazine are helping with accessories, bag, shoes. Really exciting," she said. "We went up to the offices of Vogue, and they were so kind."

While we can't wait to see the fashions, Saycon is more excited to see what host James Corden has planned. "Yes, I love him! I want to ride in a car and sing with him," she said, referring to his always-epicsometimes wacky, but definitely entertaining Carpool Karaoke segments. "I would want him to learn my song. It's called 'Everything.' If he can learn my song and sing with me, awesome."

Maybe next time, Saycon.
