Tony Goldwyn Reads 'Scandal' Fan Fiction
The Commander in Chief also reveals his most embarrassing sex scene.
Fans of the hit drama series Scandal are known for their intense obsession with the show. (Don't even get us started on last night's season finale.)
So when Scandal Commander in Chief Tony Goldwyn landed in the Bravo clubhouse alongside comedienne Amy Schumer and Andy Cohen, we knew he’d have a few interesting things to say about the hit show, where he stars opposite leading lady Kerry Washington.
First, Andy asked Tony to perform Scandal fan faction with Amy Schumer in the role of Olivia Pope, Tony’s on-screen adulterous lover. The story, titled “Flames,” by FitzLikeaGlove (get it? After his character, President Fitzgerald Grant!) was a little risqué. Just how we like it!
During the After Show, Tony told Andy which steamy sex scene on Scandal was the most embarrassing to shoot.
“Doing a sex scene with 30 overweight men staring at you… it’s hard. The most embarrassing one was when I had to direct my own sex scene,” adding that he had to discuss with Kerry how to “bend her over the table.”
But Tony has lots of fond memories of shooting the show, which resumes filming in July. When asked about his favorite scene, he answered “the scene where we (he and Olivia) ran down the clock together… Also this is totally narcissistic because I was directing that episode.”
Nothin’ wrong with looking at yourself on-screen, Tony!
Tony also added that his wife doesn’t watch this show. We’re guessing that’s a wise decision, considering the steamy sex life of President Fitzgerald Grant!
