One of the most shocking things about Jax Taylor's relationship drama with girlfriend Brittany Cartwright is not only that he cheated on her but also that he did so with someone in the same circle as the Vanderpump Rules crew: former SURver Faith Stowers. Brittany was even good friends with Faith before she hooked up with Jax.
So when the news of Jax's infidelity got back to Brittany, she said she immediately reached out to Faith to get to the bottom of it. "I sent her a couple of texts trying to get her to admit things to me because I thought she was my friend and obviously she wasn't," Brittany said on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen Monday night.
And what kind of response did Brittany get in return? Press play on the above clip to find out.
We would soon see this season of Vanderpump Rules that Brittany's world was not only rocked by the revelation of Jax's infidelity but also the discovery of a recording of him and Faith in which he criticizes Brittany and says that he has no plans to settle down with her. Even though about 95 percent of the WWHL audience said Brittany should not have stayed with Jax after hearing the tape in one viewer poll during Monday's episode, she explained why she chose to stand by her man. "Oh, he definitely retracted a bunch of times about everything that he said. Obviously, we know that things were said like that," she said on WWHL Monday. "I don't know how to explain it. It's just, I was so confused. I was loving him, I was hating him, I couldn't stand to be around him, and then I wanted him to be right beside me all the time. It was such a confusing time."
Watch Brittany talk more about the tape in the below video, including one part of the buzzy moment she's particularly "glad" about.
